Every hour a truck sits in the booth is an hour it is not earning. Drive-through layouts, heated cure cycles and a separate prep area are the biggest levers for getting fleet vehicles back on the road.
A semi-truck booth is usually at least 16 ft wide, 14 ft tall and 50 ft long. School and coach buses need similar width and height. Size to your tallest vehicle with mirrors, racks and lights, then add clearance for painters and lifts. See our truck and fleet booths.
Drive-through booths save floor space and time because vehicles never back out. Single-entry booths fit shorter buildings. We lay out the door path and turning room for your yard and shop.
cross-flow is the most economical for fleet repaint and lettering. semi-downdraft improves finish quality on large flat panels. full downdraft gives the best finish for refurbishment and OEM-level work.
Painting the roof of a bus or trailer safely requires access. PFS can include scissor lifts, mezzanines or rail-mounted platforms in the layout.
Every PFS booth is built with ETL/UL listed components and engineered to NFPA 33, the NEC (Article 516) and OSHA 1910.107. Your local fire marshal and air district have the final say, so we supply drawings, airflow data and cut sheets for permitting. See our NFPA 33 compliance guide for the details.
