PREP & SUPPORT — PAINT WALLS
Open-face exhaust walls (paint walls) for spray painting parts and panels with no full enclosure required. Many sizes, ducted or ductless, built to NFPA 33.

The PFS Exhaust Wall is an open-face spray finishing system for painting parts, panels and components without a full booth enclosure. A high-capacity tube axial fan pulls overspray through fiberglass filter media, CID2 lighting has front service access, and fire suppression is built in.
The standard unit shown is about 7 ft high × 7 ft wide × 4 ft deep. It comes single- or 3-phase, ducted or ductless.
Heavy-duty UL listed tube axial fan sized for the unit. 208/240V 3-phase standard; single-phase optional. Captures overspray at the source.
Class I Division 2 fixture with front service access for easy lamp changes. Fluorescent or LED tube compatible; LED upgrade available.
Integrated fire suppression built into the unit, so no separate system is required.
Fiberglass exhaust media captures overspray before it reaches the fan. Easy to replace; upgraded media available for high-volume work.
Available without an exhaust duct. A recirculating filtration system keeps the shop clean without exterior duct runs.
Plug-in installation with no hardwiring, for shops that need to reposition the unit.
Built to NFPA 33 spray application standards in galvanized or powder-coated steel.
From compact benchtop units to large walk-in walls. Single- or 3-phase, ducted or ductless, with or without heat.

The Large Industrial Exhaust Wall is built for high-volume production, large bays and facilities that need floor-to-ceiling overspray capture. It adds modular panel construction, dual exhaust risers, high-capacity filter bays and an integrated UL 508A control panel.
Get a Quote →Larger-diameter tube axial fan in multiple HP ratings to match your airflow requirements.
Modular panels assemble in sections for large bays, drive-through layouts and facilities with limited access.
Balanced airflow across the full filter face reduces static pressure and extends filter life.
Oversized filter bays hold more media for longer service intervals under heavy overspray loads.
UL 508A listed panel with motor starter, disconnect and hour meter, ready to tie into the PFS Core control panel.
Built to fit your facility, including floor-to-ceiling walls for maximum overspray capture in large bays.
An exhaust wall (also called a paint wall or open-face booth) is the simplest way to spray parts, panels and components. It captures overspray at the wall with no full enclosure. Choose a full enclosed booth when you need a clean, dust-free finish on vehicles or large assemblies, or when local rules require an enclosed spray area.
Ducted walls exhaust outdoors through a stack and suit regular production spraying. Ductless walls recirculate through filtration with no exterior duct run, which is useful where a roof or wall penetration is impractical. Check with your air district and fire official which configuration your process allows.
Size the filter face to the parts you spray. The wall should be wider and taller than the largest part, with room for the painter to work in front of it. Standard units start around 7 × 7 ft; large industrial walls are built floor to ceiling in custom widths.
Spray areas fall under NFPA 33. PFS exhaust walls include built-in fire suppression, CID2 lighting and UL listed fans, and the large industrial series adds a UL 508A control panel.
Fiberglass exhaust media is easy to change. Replace it on a schedule and whenever the airflow drops. PFS Filters stocks replacement media for every wall.
Exhaust walls work well beside a prep station and a paint mixing room, so sanding and paint storage stay out of the spray area.
Factory-direct pricing, fast lead times and support from order through installation. Ships nationally.
A ventilated wall with a fan, filter bank and lighting that captures overspray at its face. It lets you spray parts and panels in the open shop without a full booth enclosure.
Not always. PFS builds both ducted walls and ductless walls with recirculating filtration. Your local air-quality and fire authorities decide which your process requires.
From compact benchtop units to large walk-in and floor-to-ceiling industrial walls. The standard unit is about 7 ft H × 7 ft W × 4 ft D, and custom sizes are available.
Yes. PFS exhaust walls have fire suppression built into the unit.
Yes. 208/240V 3-phase is standard, and single-phase is available as an option, as is a plug-in power cord.
Dedicated prep and masking stations to keep your spray booth running at full capacity.
Dedicated mixing rooms for safe paint preparation adjacent to your spray booth.
Full-enclosure booths for superior overspray containment and finish quality.
Tempered make-up air systems to replace exhausted air and maintain positive booth pressure.
Need replacement filters for this booth? PFS Filters stocks intake, exhaust, ceiling, and prefilter media for paint booth maintenance.
