Multi-bay outdoor installation — three full-size PFS spray booths installed side-by-side on a concrete pad under a shared canopy. ETL listed (Intertek) for the USA and Canada, NFPA 33 compliant, heated options available.
PFS outdoor booths are available in all four airflow configurations. Select the one that fits your facility, floor plan, and finishing requirements.
Air enters through front-wall intake filters and exits through rear-wall exhaust filters. Horizontal front-to-rear airflow keeps overspray away from the operator. No pit required — the most cost-effective outdoor booth configuration.
Air enters through ceiling intake filters at the front half and exhausts through rear-wall filters at floor level. No pit required. Better finish quality than cross-flow — ideal for automotive and fleet refinishing.
Air enters through full ceiling intake filters and exhausts through side-wall fan plenums. No pit required — drop it on your existing concrete slab. Ideal for retrofit sites and leased facilities.
Air enters through full-ceiling intake filters and exhausts through a grated floor pit into an underground duct. Concrete pit required. Highest finish quality available — overspray travels straight down and away from the vehicle surface.

Add a direct-fired or indirect-fired heat system to your outdoor booth for accelerated cure times. Blanket intake filter upgrades and insulated panels included with all heated configurations.
Maximize throughput and compliance by pairing your outdoor booth with a dedicated mixing room for paint prep and an AMU for tempered make-up air.

A complete spray booth housed in its own engineered steel building on a concrete pad. Instead of giving up floor space inside your shop, the booth, its filters, fans, lighting and controls live in a permanent structure outside, with its own doors and utilities.
Plan for a level concrete pad sized to the booth plus door swing and clearances, electrical service for fans, lights and controls, gas if the booth is heated, and a path for vehicles or forklifts. PFS provides foundation loads and layout drawings for your engineer and contractor.
The outer structure is engineered for your site’s wind and snow loads. Heated air make-up keeps spraying and curing on schedule through cold weather, and the booth can be specified in galvanized or powder-coated steel for coastal or harsh climates.
An outdoor booth is a building as well as a spray booth, so expect a building permit along with fire and air-quality review. PFS supplies stamped structural information where required, NFPA 33 compliance documentation and equipment data for the permit set.
Start with one bay and add more later, or build a multi-bay finishing facility with booths, prep stations and a mixing room under one roof.
Our engineers will assess your site, review local codes, and design a system that fits your footprint and process. We ship nationally.
Usually yes. Because it is a permanent structure, most jurisdictions require a building permit plus fire and air-district review. PFS provides drawings and documentation for the permit package.
A level concrete pad designed for the booth loads and your soil. PFS supplies the loads and anchor layout for your engineer.
Yes. Direct- or indirect-fired air make-up units provide comfortable spraying and bake cycles year round.
Cross-flow, semi-downdraft, side downdraft and full downdraft. Full downdraft can use a pit in the pad or a raised basement floor.
Standard sizes cover cars, trucks and equipment; larger and multi-bay buildings are engineered for trucks, buses, rail cars and heavy equipment.
