Outdoor Paint Booths

Custom Outdoor Paint Booths

PFS custom outdoor spray booths are engineered-to-order permanent structures for facilities with unique site constraints, production requirements, or equipment dimensions that standard configurations cannot accommodate. Every custom outdoor booth begins with a site survey and engineering consultation. PFS designs the steel building structure, spray booth interior, airflow system, electrical, HVAC, and controls as a fully integrated system. Options include multi-bay configurations, drive-through layouts, elevated platforms, explosion-proof electrical, and custom door configurations. All custom outdoor booths include ETL/UL certified components, NFPA 33 compliant airflow design, and UL508A control panels. Engineered drawings, stamped calculations, and permit packages available. Ships nationally. Made in the USA.

CUSTOM OUTDOOR GUIDE

How a Custom Outdoor Paint Booth Is Engineered

Custom outdoor booths are engineered to your site, your code and your equipment.

Every custom outdoor booth starts with a site survey: the pad, access, utilities, setbacks and how equipment will move in and out.

PFS designs the steel building, the spray booth interior, the airflow, electrical, HVAC and controls as one system, so the structure and the booth are sized for each other.

  • Multi-bay layouts for more than one booth
  • Drive-through layouts with doors on both ends
  • Elevated platforms for reaching tall equipment
  • Explosion-proof electrical
  • Custom door configurations

The steel structure protects the booth from the weather and is engineered for your site and local building code, while the booth inside keeps its own controlled airflow, lighting and filtration. Designing both at once avoids fitting a standard booth into a building that was never planned for it.

UL 508A control panels, explosion-proof electrical where required and heated or non-heated air supply are specified with the building. Power, gas and compressed air are routed to the booth as part of the design, so the installation arrives ready to connect.

Outdoor booths are buildings as well as spray booths, so building, fire and air permits apply. PFS coordinates permitting and supplies the drawings and documentation.

If your equipment fits a standard design, see outdoor booths, which can be faster to deliver.

Full installation support is available from foundation coordination to commissioning.
