Drive-Through Outdoor Booths

PFS drive-through outdoor spray booths are permanent, building-style structures with entry and exit doors on opposite ends — eliminating the need to reverse vehicles and dramatically increasing throughput for high-volume fleet, bus, truck, and large vehicle operations. Each drive-through outdoor booth is a heavy-duty steel metal building with a fully equipped spray booth inside: LED lighting, exhaust filtration, HVAC, and UL508A controls. The drive-through configuration is the preferred choice for fleet refinishing shops, municipal vehicle maintenance facilities, transit authorities, and any operation where cycle time and vehicle flow are critical. Heated and non-heated airflow options available. Custom lengths, widths, and heights engineered to your site. ETL listed (Intertek) for the USA and Canada, NFPA 33 compliant. Ships nationally. Made in the USA.

DRIVE-THROUGH GUIDE

Planning a Drive-Through Outdoor Booth

Drive-through booths are built for throughput. These are the details that make the flow work.

Doors at both ends let vehicles enter, get painted and leave forward. No reversing means less time per vehicle, less risk of damage and a natural one-way flow from prep to paint to cure.

Fleet refinishing shops, municipal vehicle maintenance facilities, transit authorities and any operation that paints trucks, buses or large vehicles in volume.

Size the booth to the longest vehicle plus room for painters at both ends, and the width to the widest vehicle plus working room on each side. Custom lengths and widths are available.

Plan approach and exit lanes on both ends, turning room for long vehicles and a spot for the prep area so the flow keeps moving in one direction.

Heated and non-heated options are available. Heated airflow helps paint flow and cure in cold weather.

The booth inside the building is ETL listed (Intertek) for the USA and Canada and built to NFPA 33, with UL 508A controls. See our NFPA 33 guide.

A drive-through layout works best when the steps before and after it line up: wash or prep on the way in, cure or staging on the way out. Planning these together keeps vehicles moving one way through the site.
