Manual powder coating booths for batch operations, job shops, and low-to-medium volume production.

PFS manual powder coating booths provide a clean, controlled enclosure for hand-gun powder application with integrated overspray collection. Manual booths are the right choice for job shops, custom coaters, and low-to-medium volume operations where part variety is high and automated conveyance is not practical. PFS manual powder booths feature high-velocity exhaust airflow to capture airborne powder before it settles on surfaces or escapes the enclosure, integrated powder recovery systems, and easy-clean interior surfaces. Available in spray-to-waste and powder reclaim configurations. Built to NFPA 33 and OSHA standards for powder coating operations. ETL listed (Intertek) for the USA and Canada. Ships nationally. Made in the USA.
Our engineers are available to help you select the right configuration for your application.
An operator coats the part with a hand-held electrostatic gun while the booth exhaust pulls overspray away from the part and the operator. Overspray is either captured on filters and discarded or collected for reuse.
Job shops, custom coaters and low-to-medium volume plants where parts change often and a conveyor is not practical. Manual booths also serve as touch-up stations on automated lines.
Size the booth from the largest part plus room for the operator to reach every face and walk around the rack. The exhaust is sized to the booth opening so powder stays inside the booth.
spray-to-waste keeps color change quick and simple. powder reclaim pays off when a few colors run in volume. PFS builds manual booths both ways.
Good grounding is the most important daily habit in a manual booth: clean hooks and racks, a grounded operator and a grounded gun. It improves transfer efficiency and is required by code.
Factory-direct pricing, fast lead times and dedicated support from order through installation.
In a manual booth an operator applies the powder with a hand gun. In an automatic booth guns on stands, movers or robots coat parts on a conveyor. Many automatic lines keep a manual station for touch-up.
Yes. Manual booths are available with reclaim or as spray-to-waste booths.
Powder is charged at the gun and attracted to a grounded part. Poor grounding wastes powder, gives uneven coverage and is a fire risk, so hooks and racks must be kept clean.
