The PFS Apollo Non-Heated AMU is designed to bring fresh outside air into the paint booth. Non-tempered. Heated options available upon request.
The PFS Apollo Non-Heated AMU replaces the air your booth exhausts with fresh, filtered outside air at outdoor temperature. The booth keeps steady airflow and the building does not go negative.
Mild climates, seasonal or occasional spraying, and processes where the coating does not need tempered air. It is the simpler, lower-cost way to supply the booth.
If outdoor air gets cold enough to slow flash and cure, or painters work through the winter, a heated air make-up unit holds the booth at a set temperature. Heat can also be requested on the Apollo unit.
The AMU is interlocked with the booth exhaust fan so the booth is supplied with replacement air whenever it runs. That keeps the booth at the right pressure and meets the replacement air requirement of OSHA and NFPA 33.
Apollo units are commonly installed on the roof above the booth, with ductwork routed down to the booth intake plenum. PFS reviews the site, duct path and utilities as part of sizing.
Custom CFM sizing matches the unit to the booth exhaust so the booth runs at the right pressure. Send us your booth size and type.

Our team will size the right unit for your booth CFM, climate and heat source at no charge.
A spray booth exhausts thousands of cubic feet of air per minute. Without replacement air, the booth and building go negative, doors are hard to open, airflow drops and dust is pulled in. OSHA and NFPA 33 require adequate replacement air for spray booths.
Non-heated units bring in fresh outside air untempered and suit mild climates. Heated units temper incoming air for cold climates, painter comfort and coatings that need minimum temperatures. Heated options are available on request.
It is matched to the booth exhaust CFM so the booth runs at the right pressure. PFS sizes the unit from your booth airflow, climate and heat source.
Heated options are available on request. Tell us before ordering so the unit is configured for heat.
Yes. It supplies fresh, filtered outside air to the booth.
Usually. We check the booth exhaust CFM, the duct path and the controls, then size the unit and interlock it with the existing exhaust fan.
