Santa Rosa, CA — June 2025 — PFS Industrial Finishing Equipment today introduced the Apollo AMU series, a line of air make-up units engineered and manufactured at its Santa Rosa, California facility and matched to PFS crossflow, semi-downdraft, and downdraft spray booths.
Every spray booth exhausts air, and that air has to be replaced. Proper air replacement is required by OSHA and NFPA 33 for spray booth operation. The Apollo series supplies tempered, filtered replacement air to spray booths and finishing rooms, maintaining proper airflow balance and code compliance.
Heated and Non-Heated Configurations
- Heated AMUs, gas-fired or electric, for cold climates and temperature-sensitive coatings
- Natural gas, propane, or electric heat sources
- Heated make-up air for booths operating in sub-freezing environments
- Non-heated units that bring fresh outside air into the booth, with heated options available on request
Sized to the Booth
Because the Apollo series is designed alongside PFS booths, each unit is matched to the booth it serves. The PFS team sizes the right unit for the booth CFM, the local climate, and the available heat source at no charge. Apollo AMU integration is also available as a factory-matched option on the PFS Orion Series enclosed spray booths.
