Sand Blasting is Great Alternative to Chemical Stripping
Sand-Blasting booths provide a cost effective, safe alternative to chemical stripping. By propelling erosive material against a surface under high pressure, it removes paint quickly and effectively. Booths can be customized to any size, and several media recollection systems are available. This uses sand or other materials to strip rust, paint, and other contaminants from the work surface. This prepares the surface for perfect coating, free of particulate residue. Rust and oil are also removed through this process. Surface preparation can be sped up by around 40% by using this process. Manually cleaning and preparing these metals can be very burdensome and labor intensive, this process speeds it up while maintaining quality. Many materials can be used in this process, and which is chosen is ultimately up to the owner.
Bead Blasting- Generally used for removing fungus, calcium, and paint deposits. Environmentally safe and found in several sizes, this is a viable option.
Hydro Blasting- This process generally uses high pressure water to remove buildup. Safe for removing paint and heavy dirt buildup. Cleanup easy and affordable.
Micro Blasting- This process uses a highly concentrated stream of media to dislodge dirt and paint from the work surface.This process is highly effective for detail work, as the nozzle is very concentrated.
Automated Blasting- Blasting done within a chamber, perfect for rust, paint, dirt, and other contaminant material
Glass Beads- Reusable glass beads that are silica and lead free. Perfect to strip material without warping base of surface. Glass beads are also reusable for 4-6 cycles depending on the project. Also, safe alternative to silica sand which has multiple health issues.
Aluminum Oxide Grit- A standard media used for polishing, surface cleaning, and grinding.
Pumice- A media made from lightweight volcanic rocks, good for less agressive applications.
Silicon Carbide Grit- Hardest material available, used for etching stones and engraving glass.
